The French Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (FCC-Le Club) is a non-profit organization created in 1988 to promote French business in the Philippines, and Philippine business in France. Le Club started as a social group, consisting of four enterprising Frenchmen, who shared their experiences as expatriates, while working in the Philippines. In 2004, it became the French Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, with, at present, over one hundred forty five member companies.
The French Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines is a powerful networking tool for local and international businesses, through its wide network generally composed of
• its 145 members companies
• Philippines officials
• the foreign Chambers in the Philippines which allow access to nearly 5,000 members
• the 114 French Chambers of Commerce abroad which allow access to over 25,000 companies
• the 148 Chambers of Commerce and Industry based in France which allow access to 4 million corporate organizations
The French Chamber is also considered one of the most active and convivial Chambers in Manila. It organizes the following social and cultural activities- Soirée Beaujolais, the annual Wine Festival held every November in Manila and Cebu
- Luncheon meetings (business oriented or convivial) where members can participate as guest
speakers or simply take the floor to talk about what’s new in their companies.
- Sports events such as Pétanque, Karting, Golf, Tennis, etc.
- Jeudi du Club (or Monthly Happy Hour/Networking Evening)
To update the members of our past and future activities, a bi-monthly e-publication- the CLUBiNFO is circulated by the chamber. The FCC-Le Club website www.leclub-fcc.org also offers a wide range of information related to the chambers services, upcoming events, business news, etc.
