DOING BUSINESS WITH FRANCE?

The Economic Department, of the French Embassy with a team of 15 people, has several missions.

First, it assists French companies in entering the Philippine market; that is to say, it helps prospective investors to the Philippines find new contacts and secure contracts, organize participation in trade fairs, and other such services. Secondly, thanks to export-credit financing the team is also able to help in the establishment of French enterprises abroad. Thirdly, the department also provides aid and financing at very favourable interest rates, aimed towards public development in this country as France wishes to maintain long-term relationship with the Philippines. Lastly, the department helps in the processing of business visas applications.
