So here comes the 2010 Soirée Beaujolais, the much awaited social event in Manila!  The French community and the country’s glittering crowd celebrate together not only to discover this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau but also to taste the fine wines of the entire Beaujolais region.

Over-flowing wine, various cheeses and charcuteries flown in from France and French dishes will all be enjoyed on Thursday, 18 November at the Fiesta Pavilion of Manila Hotel from 6.00 pm.

As it has become the tradition, the French Chamber of Commerce, during this event, features a region or a cultural aspect of  France for guests to discover alongside the taste of Beaujolais wines.  On stage this time will be the region of Brittany in the northwest of France, in particular, the lace and embroidery town of Pont l’Abbé : “Pays Bigouden” and the prehistoric dolmens in the neighbouring areas.
